Aetna Dental Direct offers 3 comprehensive plans- the Preferred PPO, Core PPO and the Preventative PPO. All 3 plans have standard waiting period of 6 months for Basic Services and 12 months for major. Preventative services have no waiting periods. These waiting periods are waived if the enrolling members had dental coverage within the last 90 days.  You may also choose to add on a dental plan at the time of purchase. AARP Golden Rule

AFEUSA is a membership based plan with excellent dental and vision plans. Members of the Association enjoy services and discounts on a variety of business, health, and travel services. There are multiple memberships of the association. AFEUSA offers VSP Vision, United Concordia Dental (no preventative and basic waiting period), Standard Dental (no waiting periods), Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Plans and Critical Illness. Go here to review the plans in your area.

Ameritas PrimeStar® dental insurance plans feature next-day coverage and no enrollment fees. There are no waiting periods on most plans. Preventive visits, such as dental exams and cleanings, are covered up to 100%. 

Preventive procedures are not deducted from the plan’s annual maximum benefit. Teeth whitening is included as a Type 3 Major benefit on the PrimeStar Boost/Access dental plan. Go here to review the plans in your area.

Morgan White Group offers a wide variety of dental plans from several carriers: Delta Dental, Nationwide, BrightBenefits, Renaissance Dental & Standard Life to name a few. (Carriers do vary by service area.) Most of these carriers do have waiting periods or graduated benefits. You can also find a dental discount plan through Careington.  If you enroll in vision at the same time as dental, you will only pay one enrollment fee! Go here to see what works best for you! 

ManhattanLife offers both in and out of network coverage. Policyholders can use the dentist of their choice, even if they are not a part of the dental network. Dentists that are a part of the Careington Maximum Care PPO Dental network. Network discounts may help extend the policy year maximum with reduced charges!
